Default and some more for good measure...

Just in case you're considering a GS430....
Should I get a GS300 or GS430?

The GS Series has few problems, if any. The earlier years (98/99) have more quirks then the later years, but both have been known to have:

Moisture in Healights
Low/rough Idle Issue
Door Actuator Problems
Dash Rattle
Sunroof Rattle
Vibration at Highway Speed

I think some of the best looking cars on here are 300s, but if you are buying the car for speed, I have read of more than one person who thought they would be satisfied with the 300, and weren't... Unless you end up doing an engine swap.

After having had a GS300 and now a 430, I strongly urge you to get the V8 so you won't take a bath like I did.

Search, search, and search some more.

well i have had a 300 and a 400.

I use to care alot about speed but now i drive like a grandma.... So i love the GS3 just as much as i did the 4.

If you like speed.... go w/ the 4. If not the 3 is great.

Not sure if you ever turned wrenches on your IS3. However, if you did why not go with a very familiar motor?

damn it......... i got to this post so late......... the 300 would have been perfect... v8's too heavy ... and theres really no problems with them... well there all maintance crap and things that u need to replace cuz its been drivin so many times ... thats what milages are for it tells you how long the car has been driven.... i would have went with gs300 and boosted dat sucka up... and its a lighter motor and alot easier on gas milages

this is my opinon

but lets see these pix now!
