2000 GS4 nav update
Just wanted to update anyone interested based on a question I had posted a few weeks back.
The 2000 GS Nav system is a hard drive based system and to update the system you must update the entire hard drive. The latest and FINAL update that lexus has for this nav system is 2003. Mine is being installed today. I had to order and pre-pay for the hard drive (cost me $276) and the dealer told me there are very few of these updated hard drives available (in fact one dealer in VA told me there were absolutely none left). Apparently the reason they have stopped updates on these drives is that they've maxed out the space on the hard drive.
Just an FYI for those with the 98-00 nav systems!

I guess I need to order the update ASAP... I just finished up my Nav retrofit yesterday on my 2000GS3. Current Nav software is 2000; where is the best place to get the update? One of your sponsors?
