Seat memory
I've been searching eerywhere and can't find any information. My memory seats don't work. i'm not sure when they stopped working. Is there are fuse for it? What's weird is that once the car is on I can set them and they'll work as long as I don't turn the car off. As so as I do that....the memory is erased. HELP

If you set the seating position without setting it into memory the seat should not change position when you turn the ignition off. The only thing that should move is the steering wheel. Just checking but are you setting it into memory correctly?...You have to turn the car on but not place it into drive when you set it. And you should hear a beep when it is set.

It could be that your seat memory isn't working but in order for it to work there is a procedure that you have to follow. Turn the key to the "On" position, adjust the seat to your needs, press and HOLD the Set button and at the same time press and hold either the 1 or 2 button until your hear a confirmation tone. Repeat same steps for the remaining choice, 1 or 2. What I dislike is that you can't program the fobs to respond. i.e. I have one fob and my wife has the other but both respond to the 1 setting. On my other vehicles each fob had it's own memory settings for the sets programmed in.

Another oddity:
Even if the car is in park, the seats won't move after you choose a memory button if your foot's on the brake.
It's true. I tried it. Took my foot off, chose a memory button, seat moved. So wild.

That's the thing, I get the confirmation tone and as long as I don't shu the car off I can go back and forth with my saved seat profiles with no problem. As soon as I turn the car off...I lose the seat positions from memory. It's not a killer problem as I am the only driver...but darn it's annoying.

Okay, okay...back on the subject...
After some troubleshooting I have reached the colclusion that the Seat memory and AC controls not remembering they're positions are related.
I tested this in my dad's GS and when starting his car, the AC controls come on with the previous settings that they were on when the car was shut off. My car is no longer doing that!
AS long as the car is on...everything works as it should...I can set the seat memory and alternate between the 2 settings and the AC controls work fine. When I turn the car off and back on again...it's like I disconnected the battery.
Gimme some input on this one guys (and gals) I'm stumped!
