Yellow fogs or HID fogs
I'm thinking of changing my yellow fog lights to clear ones and put some HIDs. Some of my friends said keep the yellow fog and, some said match it with my stock HID. What do you guys think?

I bought my car with yellow fogs...then i bought clear fogs and had hids put in. They look wonderful they match up wit the top so well....but i always had this problem with ballasts goin bad from water and all that crappp i ended up puttin the yellow back in and it looks wayyy more classier.

I vote for the yellow fog I know that is how it comes stock but that is what works best with hids. Plus I dont know of many other car companies other than Lexus that has the yellow fogs

Either way it makes your car very unique and stands apart from the crowd.
BTW: If you put yellow HID fogs in. I think you might need to change the housing to a clear housing. If you have a yellow housing + yellow HID that would be yellow overkill
Otherwise, you can just put 4300k in the yellow housing.
Edit: Forgot to put in the output part. Yes the HID will be a significant increase in light output. It may also cause glare, but it shouldnt be as much of an issue as the halogen headlight => HID since the fogs are lower to the ground. If you want to compare the difference of light output...just go up to a car with halogens and compare with HID. I'm sure you have done the comparison before.
