Sup peeps,
Well me and my wife finally decided on our second car. We started to buy another GS but since mine isn't paid off we wanted to go less than 40k. Didn't even think of going with a ES since we had a 97 and the 2001 still looks the same. So we brought a 2002 Acura TL Type S w/ navigation. It costed us close to 35k. I have to admit that the car can go toe to toe with my GS. It seems to pick up faster and the steering is much better. The TL styling still isnt the greatest since Honda seems to make all there cars have the same headlights and grill. But the performance makes you forget about the styling. The Heated seats, Radio, Power Seats work well and the Navi system is the only thing i didnt like. The Navi system didn't have any of the destinations we where looking for in the Maryland area besides all the sites in D.C. But if you can get pass that flaw I wouldn't sleep on it. Just my 2 cents for those of you looking for a second car thats not a Lexus.

Congrats. We are looking to pick up the exact same car for my wife at the end of the summer. Decent car, and for her I welcome front wheel drive. Dollar for dollar, the TL-S is hard to beat.

I moved up from a 99TL to the Lexus GS430 and it will be tough to go back to any Acura production when you experience the Lexus. But for your significant other's maybe they can deal with it with no problems! HA!

Until or unless she drives your GS430; then your *** is on the couch and then you'll find that you just traded cars with the wife. If mama ain't happy, ain't NOBODY happy!!

good choice
A nice choice for your wife. They are nice cars, certainly no Lexus GS in terms of quality/fit/finish/plushness, they are still very nice for the price. I prefer them much more then a 3 series Bummer. Best of luck with it and get her those comptech headers for the extra 30hp.
