Reg,

I moved your post out of the third gen forum to the second gen forum, which is what I think you're looking for... This question has been asked many many times, and lots of answers can be found using the search feature.

I'll post some links for you in a sec

Should I get a GS300 or GS400? (found by searching with "which gs300 gs400" in the GS forum)

Hey man, Unlike the SC3/4 dilemna, I think there are more suprecharged GS400's than there are boosted 300's. So on that aspect, FI is a strong possibility with either car if that is what you are leaning toward.

The GS4 gets basically the same gas mileage but it a lot faster. Current mods are

SRT Intake ( w/ECU)
LSD
TC
many exhausts
New headers by JBrady
S-AFC if you are so inclined.

With these mods on a GS400 I believe you are realistically looking mid 13's.

Come on over man - I did it and have never looked back!!

I like my 300, but if I would have had more money, I would probably go with the 400. Maybe when I get out grad/law school.....a 430 is in my future.

Oh, and there is ALWAYS somebody faster... in Charlotte there are a number of 11 and 12 second Hondas that would tear my supercharged GS a new one

Is that because their hondas are lighter or because they have their engine more suped up?

Both... all motor (swapped) honda's can crack 12's with the right setup or faster.... simple single turbo built motors also can be very fast.... all with far less hp/tq than my car because they weigh significantly less
