Default Pics: new tail light + UGO roof

Hey club,

I just got the GS430 tail light and UGO roof installed. Love the tail light. It makes the car looks much better. However, the UGO seems to not flow with the Veilside spoiler. What do you people think? I hate to take either of the UGO roof or the Veilside spoiler off due to too much work.

I got TM plug replaced also. The car seems to response more. Not sure it is because of the ECU reset though. Will update in about a week or so.

Oh yeah I debadged too. I was not very fond about the debadging. But I love it afterward. Car looks much cleaner.

looks great..i like the debadging.

the veilside spoiler over powers your current side skirts and roof spoiler. try a non aggressive trunk spoiler, which you have a lot to choose from. (jp 3 piece, rmm, wingswest, tte..etc)

you are definitely right about the two spoilers. the vs one is aggressive and it's overpowering the ugo roof spoiler.

i guess it's a choice you have to make, whether you want to go something less aggressive for the rear spoiler. i am not sure if there is a more aggressive roof spoiler

at first I encountered this problem too as I have the same set up.... I started playing around w/ the position of the VS spoiler and the UGO until the angles matched up. So now my car has a progressive movement from top to bottom getting more and more aggressive. The VS spoiler currently is over powering your set up because the middle of the car is soo busy and the top and bottom are just very tight and clean. so IMO, ditch the VS, but even if you go w/ an OEM spoiler which matches up to the UGO perfectly, I'm not entirely sure if it'll flow well overall w/o a fuller rear bumper.

I also vote for ditching the trunk spoiler,IMO it's a little too fast and furious.

yeah, the veilside is too agressive on your car, a lsportline or rmm will do better.

I really appreciate all the response I got. They are all good. At first, I thought the UGO roof was not as I have imagine. So it is the Veilside spoiler . I hate to loose this piece. What if I will get different side skirt and rear bumber? Veilside side skirt and RMM rear? Decision decision, ahh... I may want to wait until the meet in August 21 in Baltimore MD and then find out which piece will flow with my setup. I don't want to take off the VS spoiler because it would require something else to cover the current holes I made on the trunk. I don't want to loose the UGO roof either. It is the rare item to get now-a-day.

So if anyone see a 2nd gen GS with Veilside spoiler and UGO roof at the Lexus meet in Baltimore this coming August, no mocking please

I like the VS spoiler ... just not on your car. It is a nice aggressive piece but the rest of the car has to go with that. With just an L-Tuned sideskirt, the VS spoiler stands out too much. I think even subtle kits like the RMM will be enough to balance out that spoiler.

Like everyone else said, though, it is your car and mod it the way you want to mod it.
