What is the stock shifter knob on GS 430?

Does anyone know if the leather/wood shifter **** is standard equipment on the 2001 GS 430? Mine did not come it but I have seen it on others. I did not find it listed as an option anywhere for the GS 430.

Look at the interior on this page

It shows a wood/leather shift **** same as on my '98 400 and what I'm expecting on my '01 430.
As far as I know this is what is being shipped.

all GS430 should come with leather/wood shift ****, when we bought 3 GS430, one of them came with all leather shift ****, we went to argue with sales rep and he change it for us. I think GS300 come with all leather shift ****.

This is SO WRONG of LEXUS to do this to customer's like us that pay so much money for their cars. This is not consistent and stinks.
What is up with the 2 different style shifters for the same car. A shifter with wood is better looking and should always be offerred. Looks like someone is switching them at times too!

My dealer removes the Shifter **** in the showroom cars. Apparently people steal them in the showroom! Sounds like that is what happened with your car and the dealer put the wrong replacement on.

You need to bring your car back to the dealership and have them replace your shift **** with the leather/wood trim style. All GS430 should come with the leather/wood trim style. I would definitely raise hell with them if they refuse to replace it for you. This is wrong and Lexus (as good as they are) would not and should not tolerate this kind of mistake on their cars. Quality is what they known for!
