DIY sparkplugs GS400*******************
hello all
just changed the sparkplugs on a GS400
this is how to do it
tool you will need
10mm deep 1/4 inch socket and ratchetr
one deep Sparkplug socket 5/8
some extensions
one stubby ratchet and a normal ratchet
very easy
ready on the coil pack there is a 10mm bolt ..loosne that and remove coil pack
the coil pack might be a little stubborn but it will free it self ....twist side to side
now take the deep 5/8 sparkplug socket slide into the hole and take out the sparkplug
see how easy that was
put the sparkplug carefully in the deep socket and once carefully insert into the hole
you dont want to mess up the gap
snug it up ,put the coil pack on and put the 10mm bolt back in snug it up
and thats it
i did all eight in less than hour ....the passenger side is easier
good luck

If I were not FI, I'd buy Torquemaster plugs to put back into my GS4... I still might do it with FI if I can get the colder plugs. Steve G has just opened up a group buy on them.
