Does anyone have pictures of IS rims on a GS400 and will they fit? Thanks.

yeah exactly. it will fit no problem, but the width is way too narrow for me to even think about it, let alone the even more conservative offset

Oh, be nice. There is no such thing as a dumb question. Sometimes the IS wheels can be had for a great price.

Like the others said, the IS wheels will fit. They are just not as optimal, that's all. Even the OEM GS ones are rather conservative so the IS ones will be somewhat worse.

I don't have any pictures, but my neighbor had IS rims on his/her GS. It looked nice but it did look kinda small due to the lower profile tires. Overall look was nice though. I kinda wish I took pics. He/she has since changed out the rims to something else.

Rockero28 did try this. He is now on GS 17s but this is a pic of the IS ones:

I believe he was running 10mm front and 25mm rear spacers though.

I had IS rims on my 98 GS when I was in the process if getting new rims and tires. The IS rims were from my Bro, so the price was right. Bolted right up with no issues, no spacers. I could see why someone would use spacers thought, to push the wheels out a little bit.

As a side note ..... between the IS 17's ... and my aftermarket 18's &20's ... the IS rime were the smoothest.... no vibration at any speed.... they felt perfect. Then I put brand new 18's on and the shimmy shakes come back to haunt me.

Here you go man
You got lucky I just put them on today and stumbled on this post.
My .02 wheels look good and ride better than the old 17*8 they came with stock BUT there is need for a spacer I think if you want a fuller wheel well. Nothing to crazy like a 1/4 inch is all. I like them and I went with a 245/40/17 series tire. I ordered the L-tuned springs and those are going on Monday. Some of us cannot afford fancy wheels all the time so we have to get what we can afford and I think for the price I paid I am more than pleased with these.

Oh and the calipers are close but clear just fine on the rims
And don't tell me, I know my car is dirty Getting washed this weekend
