I was hoping someone had some pics of a 18" Lowenhart BS5's on their GS. I am looking FRANTICALLY FOR RIMS and I really like these.

They don't have a large lip so they shouldn't look small. I noticed that the bigger the lip, the smaller the wheels look!! So if anyone can post some pics, I would REALLY APPRECIATE IT!! Thanx....

Why the crazy rush? 18" wheels will still look like 18" wheels...if you have the money, I would step up to 19".

The have a "REVERSE" lip so it won't look smaller than it actually is. "NORMAL" lips SOMETIMES make a rim look smaller. Some brands are particularly obvious when it comes to this.

The rush is my dad!! Since he's a car dealer he's going to call some "friends" tommorrow to check prices on rims for me. So I need to let him know what to look for!!

I would LOVE to go 19's, or even better DUBS, but since my car is a daily driver and since my dad uses the car every now and then, it's not JUST up to me... 18's is what I have to get so that's what I'm lookin for?!?!

So any pics would be helpful... Thanks for the post Manaray!!

Ok...here's a REAL QUICK photoshop hack...and boy is it a HACK!

I did a little math calculation to downsize my 20" into 18" and then I copy pasted a same size clip of the BR-5 (I think you wanted the BR-5, not the BS-5)...

Like I said, a 18" will look like a 18"...you should convince him to do 19"...hell, I have 20" as a daily driver...

Ok, here's a better picture, but it's ONLY the rim and tire...not the whole car...gswatkins is responsible for this picture (I assume it's his car)...maybe he has some more pictures...these are 18"...

Leerier,

we live about 2 miles from each other. If you want to see the car drop me a note and I will make it available. I wish I had the same opportunity before choosing rims although I am happy with the choice I made. I don't think the 18's look to small and from a performance standpoint I think they are the best comprise between looks and handling......

I just purchased BR5 also but I didn't get 18", I got 20" wheels. Front: 20x8.5 Back: 20 x10. They look sweet! I get a lot of compliments, even from old folks. There is no rubbing what-so-ever and the ride is still excellent. I post up a picture by next so you guys could check it out.

Lates,

I'm also shopping for 18" rims and was looking for pics with BR5's to see how they would look.

I must say . . . ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!

Now I'm convinced . . . these are the rims for my upcoming GS430! Anyone know where to get these at a good price?
