No problem with using my old setup

Here are some threads with pics of custom intake boxes you might want to look at for inspiration. (Please LOOK at them, don't bump them, lol...) I searched for 'intake neon' and 'intake plexiglass'

Lol, there seems to be a trend with the guys with these type of intake boxes in the above thread getting banned

Depends. Mo at SRT will tell you a fully enclosed box may cause issues by not allowing enough air into the large intake. Kaju's design is partially open at the front as seen in pics above and I (and have never seen anyone else) had no problems with that. Just make sure not to totally block off the hood area airflow, the amount from the bottom of the grill may not be quite enough.

If I were doing it, I'd pattern the custom one after what Kaju designed since you know it works well, and put the plexi cutout in that. Maybe do it in carbon fiber .

home made bird houses.... carbon fiber with all edges round off would look much nicer if you can do it.

Damn, these are sweeeeeeeeeeettt..

But I just need a functional one, making the Intake as quiet as possible. I have a road car, not a show car.

But man, those fiberglass ones look great.

Makes me go hmmmmmmmmmm....
