okay, i know there is a kit where u can buy some mirror mod from lextasy for like 500 bucks, and is not a whole mirror, just some stick on

i was wondering if another cars mirrors would fit on the GS, like the Acura TL, 300M, Benz, (ML, E,S,C class), and even the SCION TC, does any one know if those mirros are similar or same to ours,with some or no modification done. thanks

i can hook you up with a pair of black(painted) LED mirror cover.
the known issues are:
1. paint may not be 100% match with Lexus factory black.
2. u need to figure out how to connect the wire yourself (or someone)
3. i can not tell you how long will the LED last, but i do know it works.
4. mirror cover is 'stick' on and it may fall off if due to many reasons. Of course, you can try other method to secure the cover. But, you are on your own.
5. my price is $150/pair
6. i can provide you unpainted pair for $130.
7. you need to reply me within 48 hours. (by 4/14/2006 midnight)
8. i will upload some pics ASAP.
9. if you want the measurement of the cover, ask me.

I paid $290. from ebay, However the picture and description didn't state it was a cover on. So pretty much I was really upset to pay $290. covers + $100. paint + $125. install. Sounds kinda dumb?? But hey I get alot of people looking at my car and trying to figure out if the Lexus GS does come in factory led mirrors, especially when I go around the malls tons of people stare at my ride.

i got some off ebay too, the guy was in Hong Kong, they are primered caps, but i cant find anyone to mount them, they need to be either rivited or something to the mirror, then needs to be molded then painted.. do you have pics, thx.

I'll try to get the pics up, If I can get my camera back from my friend, However one side ( I believe it's the passanger side is not a perfect fit, So that took my 2hrs to sand down to a good fit ( still not perfect. ) Mounting on is not too hard, take off the inside door panel and from there on just wire the thing up. The hard part is making them fit perfectly them mounding them to fit when folding the mirrors in and out without the wires riping apart..

Those are two completely different side mirrors.

The black has Mercedes style lights and the chrome are not. What's that all about?

Are both of these designed to fit the GS mirrors only or are they universal, like could they fit an IS300 as well?

i have 3 different sets. and i think it fits GS only.
the measurement is
W-22cm; inside W -- 20cm (inside -- measure from the inside corner)
L-14cm, inside L - 12 cm
D- 11cm
(the measurement is not 100% exact due to the shape of the cover)
1 chrome set.
1 black set
1 unpainted set.
price for these 2 painted sets is $150. (shipping excluded)
unpainted set is $130 (shipping excluded)
