gs400bob: I would be careful with the IMC kit. Not only is it expensive, but the body kit is SO LOW that unless you're a careful driver, you're guarenteed to screw it up. And going up and down driveways, forget it. Speed bumps, same thing.
The ONLY thing I don't like about the IMC kit is that the front bumper is longer than a standard GS bumper and that's because the IMC hood has a "nose extension" and a new grille which sticks out PAST the headlights (which used to be popular in Japan)....and THAT looks ugly. But you can do it w/o the hood/grille but then you have this bumper that's about 2" or so longer than the stock bumper...the whole hood/grille/bumper thing makes the GS look like a E-Class...
You could always do a "combo" kit. Take the rear bumper and the sideskirts from the IMC kit and then use a matching front bumper from another kit. The Win Racing bumper would work, The Wise Sports bumper would have worked if they were still in business...there are others, but that's all I can think of off the top of my head...

IMC grill
I think the IMC grill looks sweet!!! Does anyone know where I can get one that fits without the hood adjustment?? White grill on white would be sweeter. ¤Thanks¤

as far as I know, you have to get the IMC hood also (which won't work well witht the stock bumper, so you have to get the IMC front bumper also...see how they get ya?
You could also always try your local Mercedes Benz dealer and get a 96+ E-Class (W210) front grille and have a body shop mold it on...while you're at, you can round out the GS's headlights and you'll have a complete E-Class front end!
Come on, why would you want to make your GS look like a E-Class?

The IMC type grill matches well with the stock bottom grill. I perfer the horizontal lines than the verticle. E class isn't the only car that has that look either. I think the stock grill looks a little tacky(plastic look) or maybe I'm just getting tired of it. Guess thats why people get mods huh.
