Here are the pics of the redo on the headlights. Each headlight took only about 5min to do with the proper procedure! Bad pics, I haven't had a chance to put up lights in my garage

<< Click here - Headlight redo one >>

<< Click here - Headlight redo two >>

I circled a few cloudy spots, we'll see how long they take to clear up here in the Texas sun.

bro, that looks MUCH better

and I'll say romini is right on the $$$ here...I just mix blindly as well and I didn't use alcohol, the 3m material comes with a soap solution, and u use that like say 5 parts of water to 1-1.5 parts of solution that they provide.

the soap makes it slippery and easier to squeegee

Yes I'm pleased with the results now! According to the guys at Reflex (Xpel), the soapy solution with 1.5 drops of baby shampoo is used to float the film into position, then once the film is in position, they want you to use the water/alcohol solution to flush the soap water away to aid in adhesion of the film. It is kinda handy being in the same city the company headquarters are in! I think the price is great too compared to what I've seen people charging! $225 installed for hood/mirrors/headlights/foglights, I wonder how long they will be doing it at that price!

You can try MachIII, the new CL vendor. They are based in SF but are mobile (for a fee).

it would help, coz' the xpel would smooth it out. of course it depends on the size of the chip and stuff too

Yup, I'm in the San Antonio area, I didn't have to go to the office though, just made a local call.
