Living in south dakota I am one of a few gs owners. Until receintly I had only seen 1 gs3 around town. About 2-3 months ago I noticed 2 newer gs4's driving around and it never ceases to amaze me how we are always waving at each other. One tonight rolled down his window to comment how nice my car looked, he has only been in his gs4 for 6-months. I have never seen this type of friendliness among other car owners. EG) the other rx owners never do things like this when I am driving my rx?

Its nice to be involved in this group of "elite" owners, and none of these guys were cl members as of yet

I remember back when I bought my 1994 Jeep Wrangler new off of the lot. Within a couple a of days I began to realize that many Jeep Wrangler drivers wave to each other when they pass on the road. It's the weirdest thing.

well when I was in my IS300 I used to always give a thumbs up or headsup to other IS owners..... I get some people who give it right back and i spot .NET owners quite a bit.. but ALOT of times when I give the thumbs up to a slightly modified IS300 I get a weird look like "who the ***** are you?"

I'm guessing its the same w/ my GS now... although I'm rolling stock so nobody even recognizes me.

I hardly ever get the thumbs up....I always get the hardcore stare from "street racers" ...you know the one im talking about....when they are stopped at a light and you roll by and they have one hand on the wheel and the other under their chin and they just follow you with their eyes while you pass them....but I did get a thumbs up once and it was quite exhilirating....hehe jk,....but anywho...yeah lexus owners are quite friendly...

haha my car doesn't look all that friendly too i guess. i mostly get jealous eyes from those civic people, pretty sad.....

but funny enough, not that many of them dare to challenge me on the road. at least they know what they are doing

In NJ i get the smile and head nod from other gs owners. but usaully its from ones that are 20-35 years old, and usually dont have a grandma lookin GS.. but yeah the civic guys always have that "dam i hate those gs's" look.

Too many gs in So Cal area....unless one is modified as well, most of the them pretty much ignore other GS drivers.

Maybe we should all throw up the hand sign for CL.......

I found the same thing. Around my area there aren't too many hooked up GS's. When I do see one, the driver is "too cool" to even give a head nod - especially if his girl is in the car with him. He's watching her to see that she's not watching me.

1st Gen owners, no offense, seem to have this "I'm the shiz" attitude - maybe it's the spinners??? Most the 2nd gen owners in my area are 45+ and look at me like I didn't pay for my car. The "Honda's" look at me like "Hmmm". Guess I'm hard to figure out??? :idunno:

My car is so stock that when I do see 2nd Gen GS's that are hooked up, and the owner does make eye contact, he doesn't even acknowledge that I gave a head nod but instead eyeballs my car like "You aint up on this!"

That's why I love this group - none of that ***** in here. CL should make "I LOVE CLUB LEXUS" T-shirts!
