I think its a simpler i-drive that is below the shifter, note the textured 'slider' with the small dot on it right next to the enter button. Looks like you slide that thing to toggle with you index finder then click with your thumb.

As others have said, I really HATE that textured material that is ALL over the dash/doors/steering wheel. Lex

I'm totally dissapointed on the new GS model. I think i'm gonna use the money i have saved up for the new model and throw it in mods on my current GS. The new interior looks cheap, and crappy just like any BMW i've seen. Lexus totally ruined the GS. =(

Is it me or the interior looks cheap, or maybe because it's a preproduction model.

Lets just hope it is just a preproduction model where they were franticallly scrambling to try to get the car ready for the auto show and the press the night before. Let's just hope for the best once it hits the showroom floors.

As DaveGS4 said, i would like to see a close up of the brake calipers and rotors. They seem a lot bigger on the new GS.. Also, If you get the chance, take some engine pics. Thanks

You've got to be kidding. Those pics convince me even more than I've already expressed in other threads that the new GS is big, bland, and boring, with a cheesy interior.

It still will be a success but probaly with families and woman, not real sport sedan enthusiasts.

Ok, you guys didn't ask, but here goes anyway...
You all know I miss my 5-series something fierce. Most of you know that the new 5 doesn't do it for me (nor you guys either). But I have to tell you, I LOVE THE NEW GS!

So here's the thought - maybe, just maybe, this new GS was designed to appeal to German car buyers? Or maybe to people that like German cars? I dunno. Let the insults begin

APLUS - As for your car in the next 10 years, here is a pic i took at the LA Car Show and yes this car was absolutely AMAZING! Indeed a definition of a "classy" car....

Enjoy!

Yes I must have that car. It is my new inspiration, second to getting filthy rich. To me that is an instant classic GT. Did you see the convertible one? Must have I must say. The rake on the windshield really makes the car stand out. I am going to my local Aston Martin dealer to get some close up views of it. Wish they let me take it out for a spin, but they won't $30,000.00 non-refundable cash deposit for a test drive
