Default cargo net question

Where does the cargo net attach in a GS4. Does Lexus have more than one type of net?

Thanks for any info

there are four plastic hook-like tabs that the cargo net attaches to at the rear of the trunk. basically, the cargo net sits at the very rear of the trunk (the section closest to you when you open the trunklid). i'm not sure if there are different nets available. i thought they were all the same. good luck.

Yes, I was told by my dealer there's 2 types of net. One for '98-'00 and one for '01 and up. The net I got for my 2000 GS400 has two attach points.

yup, for gs400 there are only two points at the top of the trunk beside the taillights.

Ok, I just got this in today and have no idea where to hook it to. It was raining out....so I just took a quick glance and didn't see anything.

I'm assuming I have to stick these in somehow right?

Try Steve first.

I don't know how much he sells them for.....I should have called. I got it elsewhere for $16 shipped.

Default cargo net

The clips in the pics are for holding the floor mats in place. On a GS their are two hangers one on each side of the trunk. they have two use one is to hold the trunk lining in place and the other is to hang the cargo net from. They should be already in the car if not they are not very costly from the dealer.

Rominl,

Yup those are floormat holders. I ordered a set (which comes in 6 for some reason), but I rec'd 8 of them.....so I thought the other 2 were to hang the cargo net.

Ok, I guess I have to look for the hangers in the trunk. It would be greatly appreciated if someone can post a picture of what they look like.

Thx.

I wouldn't mind getting one of those nets for my trunk however, i can't seem to find the purpose for them.

man it would be tough, coz' i would have to pull out the lining a bit to get the hardware, but it's almost like some clips and screws with hooks that's all

it's weird though, shouldn't those hardware come with the net? they are a package together?

My car came with the net but no mounting hardware. Looked around the truck but didn't see anything that appears to be where the net attaches to or any place for mounting hooks.
