Aristo 2JZ-GTE (1994 JZS147) HELP -- FUSE ISSUES!!!
I just brought a 1994 Aristo with a 2JZ-GTE, it is in much need of some TLC but I have brought it as a project car and plan to have it spic and span in no time
First issue I have that I am hoping to get over with the help of all the lovely people I have seen on here!
Drove car home approx 2hours yesterday not a single problem. Got home - left car running idle for maybe 5-10mins and it started to overheat & let water out through overflow.
Turned car off straight away ...lucky didn't get hot enough to cause too much damage.... I have since worked out that the thermo fans are not kicking in at all!
My partner (a mechanic but not too familiar with 2j's) tried to work out the wiring for the thermo fans and seemed to think it was hooked up to a "Defog" fuse....the drivers side kick-panel fuse-box does not have a cover on it so I am at a lost to work out which fuse is which!!!
He has temporarily hooked a wire up so the thermo fans are on constantly but this is causing issues with another relay.
(my center console has also stopped working suddenly too eg. radio, climate control etc so locating these fuses would be handy too as I assume it may have something to do with what happened above)
Does anyone know the correct setup for the thermo fans and would anyone be kind enough to share any photos and/or diagrams they have of the fuse box layouts?
Thanking you in advance.

Hi and welcome!
This is the kick panel fuse box for the GS300, not sure how different it is to the JZS147 aristo version but it is a starting point.
Also.. I found a specific electrical wiring manual for the JZS147 Aristo, but it is completely in japanese.

I also have the english US GS300 version as well if you need or could use that?

Thanks joewitafro, I believe the GS300 and JZS147 are pretty similar, any chance I could have a browse over your copy & maybe have some luck?
Thank-you
