I found a set of keys with the Keyless entry in the glove box of a car at the junk yard!!! DOES ANYBODY KNOW where the Module box for the Keyless entry is located????
Under the dash? Ive herd that if you have the keys and the module box, you can swap it in your GS and it will work....no programming needed.

OK i found out the Remote door lock module is inside the passenger side rear quarter panel. Back to the junk yard i go....

nice find! If you open up the master key, you should be able to pop the blade out (at least in mines popped out; 92 SC) and get a new blank so you don't have to swap out the ignition and key locks for a full oem setup on one set of keys. good luck

It's worth a try. You may already know, 2 master keys with button and the receiver module cost $250-300 brand new at sewell with clublexus discount. At a local dealership, I'd expect it to be close to double that if not more. That'd be great if you this working nicely

I pulled the Remote Door module out of my car and its totaly different than the one i got from the junkyard.

My 93GS uses the metal box type (on right) The other on left was from i believe a 95GS.
the connectors are different aswell, the metal box has a 10 pin and the other has a 12 pin.
However... mine has a removable chip you can see in pic 3. Anyone know a way to make the system work with what i got? That chip i would think has to be what the key remote is programmed to???
