Just curious how much did it cost to buy a 1st gen gs300 brand new? also whats the average gs300 going for now?

According to my bill of sale, the original owner purchased my first gen for $47,500 sticker price. No ABS or TCS. Sunroof, car phone, heated mirrors, and defroster.

Wait....so no ABS or TCS and it was still $47,500!! I always figured it was standard equipment.

Rusty about the same mine was, no TCS but I do have ABS
Minus the phone and heated mirrors. 42,700.

A new one usually goes for around 60k

I'm surprised too I thought that trac , abs and sunroof were standard. It's crazy too how cars devaluate in price. 45,000 brand new and now our cars are going for 1,500-3,500 on Craig's list that's crazy. Sometimes I wonder if it's worth buying a new car .

not sure about the original MSRP on a early GS but i know the base model 2014 GS starts around $48k. that includes a moonroof, 12' LCD display, and the 6 disc cd stereo

Exactly. reason why i will never get a new or newer car. That steep depreciation is just not acceptable to me. All my cars are at the bottom of their depreciation curve, and i get my money back pretty much everytime i sell. So it tickles me to death that I basically get to drive sweet older rides for free. Back on topic: nice older Lexi are sweet deals.

I agree. old Lexus are a great deal. There easy to flip.

I think it's kinda funny that you say their easy to flip and your picture has your car flipped sidways lol. But ya, its amazing what inflation and depreciation will do to a car.
