Facing a perdicament...
I did a search but couldnt find a direct answer..
I just ordered a set of HID conversion and made an error. Here is the story
I have VVME 9006 in my wifes Camry and installed them no problem, direct plug and play, no issues.
Well, I ordered a 35 W kit for my car, well we are 55 W, im wondering if I buy the relay harness (that directly plugs into my battery) if this will solve my issue and let them work? Im assuming it would but I just need reassurance from my peers I guess. I didnt order the relay this time because I assumed I wouldnt need it.
OR
Would I be better off on returning my kit for the 55 W kit
OR
Just returning my ballasts for a set of 55 W

You don't need either. You can easily run the 35w kit. In fact the 55w kit may get too hot in the projector and melt it. I've heard issues on Subaru etc. I have 35w morimoto in both projector and fog lights and I'm very happy with light output and color.

They won't even light up. I've installed them and got nothing. I'm going to hook them into my wifes and assure the ballasts arent blown. If not ill get the harness that runs off my battery I suppose.

If it won't light up you wired it wrong or the kit is bad. 12v systems will pull the power they need. 35w hid is brighter than most 55w halogen. All factory vehicles have a 55/60w low/high beam unless its hid. Double check your connections and wiring.

Most kits I've installed you can't flip the connector. They only go one way. That's just the few I've installed (Phillips, morimoto) those are really the only 2 kits I've heard anything good about.

such a simple fix man
They work! No issues at all, none!
Thanks for the simple, but spot on, help!! I never thought of "flipping" the plug.

Now something new lol
Any yall have issues of your car not wanting to run after installing a short ram air intake? I checked the air flow meter, just now unhooked the battery for over night to "relearn". I may have to advance the idle I suppose to compensate.

So after doing some research I found out our idle is ecu controlled. I left the battery unhooked over night to reset the ecu. Once the wife is up to watch the son ill go reconnect it.

It was dumping fuel bad. However the line (not sure of the name) the one to the right under the distributor on the right front, wouldn't connect on the new pipe so I wedged it on there.
