120,000 Tune Up
In January it will be time for me to get my 120,000 mile tune up. I don't even know if there is any such thing. If not I'm just going to tell them to do the 60,000 all over again. Does anyone have any suggestions, helpful hints, etc. I think I will go to a Lexus dealership, but I am on a law student's budget. (possibly a Toyota dealership?).
Thanks,
Kareem

I'm a law student also, so I know the pain of your budgetary limitations. Are you a 1L, 2L, or 3L? What area of law are you thinking of practicing in? I'm a 2L and after I graduate and pass the bar, my friends and I will open up a firm near downtown L.A. PI, immigration law and whatever else interests us. It will be fun!
Well, back to your car. Have you replaced your timing belt yet? If not, you should do so. Also, change the plugs, cap & rotor, plug wires, tranny & diff. fluid. You should change the fuel filter too, I don't care if the Lexus dealer says it is a lifetime filter, it is bound to get clogged.
Any other suggestions?

Thanks for the tips on the car. Does anyone have those Denso plugs in their car. I've been hearing good things.

If no one is swearing by them I will probably just go with whatever the dealership says, because with this car I'm not really concerned with hp and torque. I had Bosch Platinum +4 plugs in my Mustang GT and they were cool, maybe a 2-5 hp gain.
