Default 93 GS300 Control Arm Bushings Help

Hey guys has anyone ever replaced the gs300 control arm bushing also known as the radius rod bushings/caster arm bushings/caster arm? I ordered and recieved the new bushings on ebay and now we are lowering the sub frame. The bolt that goes through the caster arm is pretty long which makes it difficult to remove. I was able to drop the sub frame about 3 inches. Is there any way I can drop it lower? I dont know what is keeping it from not dropping any lower but its a huge PITA i just need it a little bit lower. I already removed the rear sub frame bolts and loosened the 2 front bolts. HELP is greatly appreciated and you guys will save me $700 (going to a mechanic to change them).

I have done a few.If you release the steering shaft from the rack, you should be able to get the sub frame to lower some more.Make sure the steering is locked so it does not spin and damage the clockspring.
