Default Help! Might have to sell my 1GS 3 weeks after buying it.

I got my 94 GS300 a few weeks ago 200k miles. About a week after I got it, my mom had a mechanic she goes to replace the power steering pump. When I got it back a few days later, It stalled on the way home. I had 1/4 tank of gas, but since the car was new to me, I wasn't 100% sure the gauge was working. After my girl got home, I put some gas in it and it started right up. Thinking the gauge was bad and I just ran out of gas, I went to fill it up. On the way home, died again. The next morning, it started right up.
Each time it dies, I turn the key and the car sounds like it's about to start, but never comes on. It sounds just like it's out of gas, or how it sounded when I tried starting it while having the fuel pump ecu disconnected. My mom's mechanic replaced the fuel pump, I replaced the EFI relay and fuse in addition to bypassing the fuel pump ecu, but still the same problem. I just started a new job, this is my only car and i'm low on funds. So if i can't get it fixed fast and relatively cheap, it's going on craigslist. (it's actually on there now)

Problem:
After driving car for an undetermined amount of time, it dies. Lights stay on, engine shuts off. I try starting it, but no luck. Car sounds like it's out of gas.

Things i've tried:
New Battery
Replaced fuel pump and fuel filter
Replaced EFI relay and fuse
Fuel Pump ECU bypass mod
Cleaned MAF with 99% isopropyl alcohol (still started afterwards)
New air filter.
Radiator fan runs, no coolant leaks

Note: I noticed oil dripping onto the connector for the O2 sensor closest to the MAF, right underneath all the spark plug wires. It was also inside the connector.

I pulled the ecu and opened it up. I didn't see leaking caps or anything noticeable. Should I still give a new one a shot?

Spraying alcohol into your Karmen sensor is a big mistake. Everyone assumes it's a hot wire mass air meter but it's not. See if you can borrow another one.

Woohoo. Got a replacement MAF for $50 and ECU for $100 from the junkyard. Installed them and did a 30 minute test drive around my neighborhood. Everything seems to be fine! I Gonna put it through a real test tomorrow and drive to work. Thanks everyone!

Now swap back each one to confirm which one was the culprit?

Default It was my ECU!

Looks like a bad ECU was the culprit. I played musical parts and both my old ECU and old MAF were bad. The bad MAF is due to me attempting to clean it though.

I was in such a good mood, I decided to clean my rims. I want to swap them for some stock rims and tires, but I have to wait now after putting so much money into fixing this problem. I figured they may as well be clean since I'm stuck with them for a few more weeks
