Default gs300 swap cost

hi all,

i am intrested in knowing total cost to swap a jdm into my 1996 gs300.
i know there are lot of threads about the topic but i would like to know the cost of the project.
can all of you who did this project tell me about the pricing involved?

i am not looking for big power. around 300-350 would me more than enough for me.

$2500-3000 for JZS147 clip
$1500-2000 labor

..BPU on stock twins will get you 300-350hp

I dynoed 403 to the wheels BPU+. Working out the kinks on my single right now and will post dyno results when finished.

with a flawless swap, then going BPU with a nice tune. i wouldnt see a problem with it being reliable as long as you didnt cheap out on parts, cuz im sure the motor can handle the power.

things start going downhill when corners are cut and cheap parts used.

Hey GoFastTSI, just out of curiosity could you describe what it is like riding with 403 horses? Is there a slight bit of turbo lag or any at all for that matter? any other cars you have beaten(in other words they didn't stand a chance from the start). How much did your setup run you total with labor for tune as well, And lastly any plans for the future?
