hello everyone, i was wondering if any one has changed out ther high miles GS engine with an jdm one 2jzge??? i want to do it cuz i blew my headgasket and i was told that the jdm engine is not legal because they dont have a EGR!!! has any one done this?? what did u guys do about smog?? since i do live in cali. thanks for ur help

just use long block from the jdm motor and transfer all other stuffs from the usdm motor over.
however, i'm not sure the jdm head has the hole for egr.. if not, you just have to drill it.

i wouldnt waiste the time and $ to go from one ge to another ge
the JDM GE doesnt haev MAF,uses high imp injectors,there also smaller to.just put a aristo GTE in and call it a day

if i had the money i would go to gte but im just tryng to get it working right with out spending lots of money. any1 have a used good motor i can buy?? so ill take it that the jdm ge engine doesnt just drop in and work properly!!
