De-badged Aristo Tails "Kouki"
at first i was gonna attempt to take out the "GS300" emblem from the u.s. tails but i decided not to.my kouki Aristo tails werent in perfect condition, the chrome was faded in some areas and i like the kouki design better than the zenki's.so i sanded down the "ARISTO" from the center garnish.in its place will be a "Junction Produce" emblem.on with the pics.
i didnt start taking pics after it was sanded down
i used an electric palm sander with 80 grit, then went up to 320 grit.
i then sanded by hand with 600 grit,1000,2000,then finalized with 3000 grit.
i then applied Meguirs Plastix polish and used a Mothers power ball
and done!

nice, i think it looks alot better w/o the chrome.
quick Q, what are you refering to with zenki/kouki on our cars. Only time I've ever heard those terms was refering to 240s

Very cool man! I did something similar like that but instead of sanding them completely off, I just sanded all the chrome off and then repolished them. So now from far away it looks all black like yours but when you get closer it still reads Aristo.
