Default Check engine light???

I was driving today and my car started to run real sluggish it felt like it was cutting back a little, then my check engine light came on. Im thinking it may be a vacuum leak somewhere, but im not sure, anybody know anything else that could cause this?

usally the check engine comes on b/c of bad O2 sensors or it could be the egr valve

I was thinking that it could be bad fuel that the previous owner put in it, but I also did think that it might have been the Oxygen sensor. I would like to check the egr valve can anyone tell me where it is and how to check?

Until you pull the error code, it's all just a guessing game.

I've been just about everywhere to see if someone had a diagnostic machine that could tell me whats wrong but no one has the right diagnostic machine, is there another way to find out the error code or will I have to take it to a dealership.

Thanks, it really helped me out alot, I thought I was going to have to take it to the dealer just to get the error codes.
