Car breaking up!
Hey guys, I have a gte motor in my gs300 and I put new plugs in it and it drove fine. I let the car sit for about a week then I took it out to drive to an event and she was breaking up badly. She was doing this prior to the plug change, that why we changed them. Well my shop looked at the car again and said my car is breaking up under partial throttle. They said the AFC couldn't compensate for the richness that she have doing this moment. They told me maybe I should look into a better fuel controller like a Map ecu, or an AEM ecu. What do you guys think, I am tired of this braking up crap. Car have twin walbro pumps, AFC (1), VPC, GCC,550's. When she breaks up I can see the AFC throttle sticking, and some time the rpm stick to(both on the AFC). I am thinking about the Map ecu. Who running one? I searched and couldn't come up anyone that using one on this board.

do you have an aristo ecu in the car?
if so, why do you have a vpc/gcc.. alphabet soup? the aristo jdm 2jz is map based anyway.
the power you are making could easily be obtained with a single walbro 255 and your 550s, and the stock ecu would control it. not even a need for an safc. FWIW, the safc does nothing for you at anything less than WOT.. the ecu will not allow it.
i'm running twin k26s, single walbro 255, and stock 440s, mild tuning with an safc2 but i may pull it soon. last dyno 354rwhp and 343tq at 13psi. The usdm intake cam swap I did should be putting me close to your #s at the same 13 psi (reported gains of 15-20 hp/tq)
One more thing.. what gap are the plugs, and which plugs did you use? This is important.
I've considered the MAP ecu, but it's pointless to make more power without doing something to the tranny.. it wont hold it.

It's a USDM ecu, I forgot the numbers that was on the NGK's cause the previous owner gave me a fresh set. It only happens under partial throttle. I read on the Supra forum that it could be a O2 sensor.
