First mods and pics of my 92 Aristo :)
Got some new legs and shoes for my Aristo today
First I had to get some value out of the original tired old rubber that came with the car from Japan.

The new shoes are Work Euroline LS, 19 x 8.5 +41 front and 19 x 9.5 +45 rear. An alignment and some camber and she rides and turns beautifully. These are setup to take the Supra brakes on the front, the rears could take a lot lower offsets however I prefer to be able to put the widest tyres possible on, so I have 245 front and 275 rear. Then fitted some HKS Hipermax LS+ coilovers to drop the altitude and give it some attitude. A little rubbing of the plastic guard liner in the front, particularly on the left hand side, but that's easily sorted out
The Hipermax were worth every cent, I'm amazed that they ride very comfortably while being quite a bit lower than standard. Combined with the new rubber, the handling is brilliant. So much better than standard!
Sorry for the crappy pic quality, the car is still grimed up from the boat trip from Japan - I have it being detailed in a few days

Hope you like, I sure do - this car is just awesome. Can't wait to start getting more power out of her!
Cheers

Thanks guys - yeah, the car came with the a02b Torsen LSD 4.083 ratio - same as Soarer/SC300 and Auto JZA80 tt
So if you want a torsen, an Auto JZA80 TT diff slots straight in, housing and all
The Torsen combined with the trac control works beautifully, floor it in the rain and the speed builds quickly while I've got the pedal mashed to the floor

my bad - it;s actually the non turbo JZA80 LSD that's 4.083 - and the 1jz Soarer Torsen is 4.083
But you guys never got twin turbo soarers, only the n/a 2jz sc300 and 1uz sc400?

A few people have said the same, but when they've seen them in real life they completely change their minds. I don;t think I've ever seen a picture of an Aristo that does it justice - they're just so much better in 3d
