Default fog lights out

both my fog light suddenly would not turn on.
i checked the fuse and it is okay.
tried using search but proved abortive.
what could be wrong. could they both die off at the same time/
if so, how do i go about replacing them.
any advie is appreciated guys.

Cool

check for power upto the back of the fog lamp, if power , then bulbs are bad. If no power check relay and switch.

Default fog

i looked under the fog lights but don' know how to check if power is getting there.
how do i check the relay and swicth.(where are they and what do i look for when ui find them.)

They are designed to turn on with the low beam lamps also switched on, only. Just a gentle reminder, as I'm sure you're aware.
High beams; switches them off... parking lamps; switches them off... no lamps on; switches them off... This is a safety design, I've been advised..

Default still

thanks tammy. i am aware of all that but it still does not turn on. the fuse is good.how do i check the relay or take out the bulb to find out if it is burnt out?

Just pull the bulbs and use a multi tester to check for power to the socket/bulb holder.

i think my fog lamps stay on when i put on the high beams, ill double check.

Default problem fixed

hey guys turned on my car this morning and fog lights ame on.don.t know what was wrong but am happy it fixed itself b4 I spent any time or money.and oh I am posting this reply from my phone.it is ut 6700ncoolest pda phone ever
