Default 2JZGTE Swap..........

I am new to the forum and have explored the "Search" option of the forum, but really cant find any info on doing the swap.

I have a 1995 GS300 bone stock, and also have a 2JZGTE Clip sitting here with the engine out already, and was looking things over but still had some questions........

Is the harness from the JDM set-up Plug and Play?
-if not what needs to be done or what are the differances?

What things will I have to look out for while doing the swap?

I have done many swaps (Sr20det S13 ,VG30DETT na-tt conversion, Honda swaps) before so I do know how to work on cars..........but never on a toyota, this is my first one.

Thanks .....any info would be helpfull

also if the clip or the engine is from a Supra you will need to swap the oil pan and sump to an Aristo one. mounts are different also.. use the stock Lexus GE mounts.

The JDM aristo harness will also have to be extended..It is easier to use a Supra harness..

If you use the supra harness you have to use the supra computer..And the supra cpu are easy to come by because most TT owners use stand alones..

if he has a clip, then he has a jdm ecu. he also has the benefit then of no MAF, the jdm 2jzgte use MAP or Speed density. Most swaps from reputable importers should come with all the accessories (2jzgte has a different PS pump..etc.. ) an ECU and an uncut harness. Make sure to get an igniter as well. Of course all this could be solved by buying a front clip, but then you have to dispose of the leftovers and that can be a pain for some people.

the clip is from an aristo,

so following has to be done
-make room for the clearance of the rear turbo
-extend the ecu harness.........

how much does it need to extend (harness)?
