i sold the car yesterday. i bought a 1996 BMW 328i silver on black, with m3 bumper, and 18" m5 wheels, clean as hell. i got it for cheap as hell. in my opinion the bimmer performs, handles, and looks better than the GS.

Well, you never had to chance to mod your GS so I agree with you. Once you modifiy a car, you will notice a difference. I'm pretty sure your gs was stock and the bmw you just purchased has already been modded, so the comparison isn't really valid on your behalf. Either way, enjoy your new car and have fun with it.

the bmw is all stock, except for a front m3 bumper(which is stock for 95 m3's), and 2002 m5 rims(which are stock bmw rims). the Gs was already becoming a money trap for me, i got rid of it with $1100 profit. it needed a new rack and pinion, windhshield was cracked, seats were cracked, and it was salvaged(due to theft) so im pretty happy i sold it with profit. but if i ever find a clean 1st gen i would buy it, but it is quite impossible to find a clean one worth buying. the guy who bought my car saw 3 before mine, and said mine was the cleanest(my cupholders worked, wood grain wasnt cracked, seats werent that bad, it had 93k miles)
