Anyone from Missouri or nearby states?
I live in central Missouri and would be interested in organizing a meet if we can get even a little interest. If you are from Missouri or the area and would be interested in a meet either in Kansas City, Columbia, or somewhere in the area, I'd love to see about setting it up.
Get the word out to others you know in the area and lets get this started!

No, not really. KCIR, the local drag strip closed down for good last season, and since then there really hasn't been anything. I'm a member on the local subaru forum, and alot of those guys have been trying to get auto-cross events organized, but with out any luck. How about where you're at? Any good car meets, or places to race legally.

I know STL is a ways away, but as an update for everyone else that sees this, we are having weekly meets in Sedalia and Warrensburg, Wednesdays for now...

the only way to make good power with an IS is to build the motor and turbo it... stock motor can make 300 at the wheels on a smallish turbo and a standalone... built motor can make 700+ at the wheels on a big turbo and a standalone...
stock is around 180 at the wheels, all the bolt ons and you are talking 200ish, no way to really tune the car unless you go standalone - all the piggybacks suck, IMO and are not worth the money...
on 6 psi, my car is making around 280-300 at the wheels, and it is time to turn the boost up, just need to swap wastegate springs first...
