I go to unofficial cruise ins -- i hate car shows -- too much white trash.

I am new to this website as well. I am in the Columbus area and I travel to Sandusky near Cedar Point a bit. I know a lot of people in the import scene .. partly because I spent 2 years selling after market parts for a local company, but I am the only active person in the area with a modded Lexus. I would love to get together with some of you and see what you have done, your plans, whatever. If you are looking for events to go to, I am your man. Unfortunatly there aren't any for a little while now ... being that it is cold and rainy. I'll be in touch though. Feel free to IM me or add me to your buddy list.

I'm up for cruise-ins & shows when they start up in spring

I know a lot of them here in Columbus. Last year there were an average of 200 people every Friday and Saturday night. I will definantly post in this forum when they start back up.

cool, I wouldn't mind driving down there for some of them. They have cruise-ins up here every Friday & saturday at Annabelle's in Mentor.

How far is Mentor from Columbus? I wouldn't mind visiting. How many people go? What kind of cars?

It's proabably @ 2 hour drive or so, depending on what part of columbus you come from. On a nice night, there's usually over 100 cars there. Probably 1/4 of them are older muscle cars. There's usually a group of 300Z's & 3000Gt Vr4's that are pretty nice. Besides the muscle cars, it's a lot of imports, mustangs & trucks. I can let you know when they start up, if you're interested.

I'll keep you posted when it starts up again, probably in april or so.
I don't have much done to the car b/c I've only had it for a couple of months, just a few cosmetic things like tint, c/f radiator cover, pedals & shift ****. Right now, I'm looking into getting a turbo kit, so i'm researching my options now. I should have it in the next few months.

Talk about snow ... it is supposed to snow 7" tonight. Drifting is fun and all, but I can do that on dry pavement

We didn't get much snow up here, but we did get alot of ice. It felt like I was making an ice sculpture this morning when I was trying to chisel the ice off my car!
