So I've been talking to Mark at Lexus of Wayzata here in Minneapolis, the new car sales manager and we're trying to set up a Lexus meet at their dealership. It started out with me wanting to have an IS meet there and it may turn out to be a lot more now....a full Lexus show basically

He has talked to the GM and they will have 2 IS250's with the new F-sport stuff on them, and then will have an ISF........that he said we could test drive!!

They will also be emailing all of their customers about this meet, they want to be a full Lexus car show type of thing. I am going to go talk to him about details and some planning next week.

They can't do it in June like I originally wanted to plan do to other events, but we came up with July 12th as the tentative date, since the weekend of the 4th would be bad, and any later and it's getting too close to OH2K8. So if this date doesn't work, it would have to move back until at least August.

Invite ALL Lexus owners that you know, with any kind of Lexus. Hopefully some of you Wisconsin, Chicago, and other Midwest people can make this trip.

give me some feedback on the date IF you will be coming out for this event.

if my gs is out of the paint booth by then ill be there, ill prob bring two more, a GS and an IS. That date should work just fine with us, keep posted if there are any changes.

oh and i forgot, i might bring a 700whp supra along for the ride, toyota, lexus I think it would be a good thing

My GS will be done by July. The people at lexus are going to crap themselves when I roll in. :-P

I will actually be in the MPLS/St. Paul area a week before that, and will most likely be driving the Lexus too.

I'm meeting with Mark (new car sales manager) on monday to discuss details and see if we can finalize everything.

I hope you guys can make it, I'd love to meet some other Lexus owners from the forums. there's a group of us IS guys that hang out regularly, but I don't really know many other Lexus owners.

well he still hasn't gotten back to me, and I've left him probably 10 messages over the last 3 weeks.

It's a little late to get this set up for the 12th now. So it will most likely be in August or September once I can actually get a call back from the dealer.

I think they've been pretty busy with events surrounding the womens US open that they heavily sponsored and is finally over.
