I would even try the SC on bad roads. I'll stick to my Audi whenever the roads aren't free of snow and ice

Maybe no worse than any other rwd car, but lowered, on 245/275 high performance summer tires with 315rwhp why should I even think about it when I have awd on 205 Nokian tires. If you want to try it get some really good skinny tires and take it easy, very easy.

BTW the S6 has Porsche brakes an upgraded suspension and is chipped with 237awhp/256awtq

Yeah my SC300 is stock. I'm planning to put snow tires on the rear wheels and leave the front tires as is. It's a 5 speed.

The rear wheels make you go. The fronts make you stop and steer. You should get snows on all 4 corners.

Also go as skinny as you can. You should be able to put 205's or even 195's on stock wheels

Put snow tires on all around and you should be fine. I drove my IS the first winter I had it and it wasn't too bad, I store it now though. I went with Blizzak's on my stock rims, I think I had the WS-50 model or something like that. They are a good winter tire, I would recommend them.
