I am not sure if this is a regional thing but I randomly clicked on my xm nav weather today in the RX and I got to see the weather forecast even thought I stopped subscribing. Then I found out my sat radio works as well!

Tried this on m C class and it is also enabled for free sat radio.

Turns out its a free promotion. They usually send out an email but I don't think I received it this time around. Hope you guys have it too!

Nope....but I'm bout to drop them from all my cars anyway, and just use iphone for internet radio streaming while driving.

I think they send the $25. letter to former subscribers. I would never subscribe for full price. When your subscription is near it's renewal date, you should call them and request a discounted rate and inform them that you intend to cancel your subscription if a discounted rate is not available. My friends were paying $50. to $77. annually so I called and got the $77. rate. I am cheeep.
