Get Portal: First Slice (and other stuff) free if you have an nVidia card
nVidia and Valve have started a partnership, and one of the first offers is some free games and an extended demo of Portal. You have to install and sign up for Steam (if you don't have it already), which is free, then it will check to make sure you have an nVidia card and allow you to download:
Half-Life 2: Deathmatch (normally $9.95)
Half-Life 2: Lost Coast (only available in packs costing $9.95 or more)
Portal: First Slice (unavailable otherwise)
Peggle Extreme (only available in Orange Box for $49.95. Peggle Deluxe is $9.95 on its own)
All for free. Thereafter, the games will be linked to your account and you will be able to play them on any PC, even one that doesn't have an nVidia card, as long as you log into Steam.
