I purchased these from a vendor in 2009 in mid March or April for $200. I went with this brand, because I've had excellent luck with their HID kits, which still sell for $300. Reason I paid so much for them is, because Kaixen is a company that doesn't outsource any of their production. They make everything in their own facility and that assured my confidence into buying them. Another plus side is that Kaixen is the only aftermarket brand of HID bulb that utilizes the same diamond shaped glass design as Philips, which allows for a very sharp cutoff line. For these reasons, I chose Kaixen over Garax etc.

They probably have a maximum of 30 hours on them and that's a guestimate. Since January of 09, I've only put 6000 miles on the car, and when I do take it out, it's normally at night to go out. In fact, the car hasn't moved in 6 weeks until last week. Therefore, the bulbs don't have much use in them over the course of the last year.

I'm selling this, because I want a truer white, which is why I've replaced the 6500k with a pair of 5000k Kaixen bulbs. The 6500k, are white with a hint of purple.
