1.) Whats a glow plug and how much do they run?
2.) How long does a tank of gas last?
3.) How often will I have to change tires?
4.) Does it require any other oil or something?
5.) Can I put a diff. body on the chassis?
6.) Does it come with the original manuals and box or what?
7.) How old is it?
8.) Can it drift?
1- spark plug $5

2- 10 mins -ish

3- depends on how much you drive. Roughly 15 tanks of fuel.

4- after run oil for when you are finished driving it every day. prevents rust in the engine, goes in the glow plug hole.

5- sky is the limit.

6- I can't answer that one...lol.

7- same as above

8- with different tires it could. Most drifters prefer electric.

Subnotes- Nitro R/C is ADDICTING and very fun, but you need to read up on it and buy a special temp gauge. You'll have to tune pretty much every run to keep the engine from going too lean or rich. Going rich only slows you down, but going lean will destroy the engine in less than 60 seconds from severe overheating. Engines are supposed to run at or below 230 degrees. That's why you MUST have a temp gauge (usually IR about $45 for the average one). First timers into nitro either love it or hate it. Once you figure out how not to kill the engine in a blaze of glory you'll enjoy it.

If it helps I have a duratrax digital temp gauge for sale like the one mentioned above.. Whoever buys the car or maybe just wants it since you guys are on the subject can have it for $12 shipped, it's a little scratched but it works great!

Hopefully that can help influence someone to buy this guys car and not have to worry about spending too much afterwards for supporting items Hope you don't mind bighit, if so i will erase this post.

5. Any 1/10 scale 200mm body will work
6. You can download/print anything (assembly manual, tuning guides) you need from HPIracing.com
7. Circa 2005

Thank for all the info guys. I have limited internet access right now but I just wanted to drop in and say I still want it and plan on sending you the paypal next week if my check clears, which I don't see why it wouldn't.

Hey could you let macd7919 know if you'll take up his offer on the temp gauge ? If you're not going to buy it I will but since he was offering it as an incentive to buy Mike's car I'll wait till you decide.

IMHO you should buy it since the least expensive replacement motor is a Peak @ Stormer Hobbies for $49 + shipping.

Total noob questions I know but I just want to make sure when I get it I know something, lol. Like I said, it will be a few days, most likly Monday before I can paypal you the money since I will have to wait 3-4 days for paypal to transfer the money to my paypal account. Just LMK whats up, thanks.
Also a PM would be cool to let me know you responded if you don't mind please.

-Richard
you dont have to wait 3 or 4 days for paypal to transfer anything to anywhere bro. if your paypal is hooked up to your checking account already, you just send the dude the cash from paypal and it will come right out of your bank as long as you select that as the method of payment you want to use when you submit the payment. good luck have fun with the new toy. id buy it if i had the extra cash right now too. maybe in six months when you get tired of it ill take it off your hands haha
