If you get caught having one....you go to Federal jail and a nice hefty fine.

Hawaii has no indigenous reptiles or snakes...and we like to keep it that way.....so that it dont wipe out the entire native animals/birds. So owning retile or snake is totally illegal. Look what the brown tree snake did to Guam? It basically wiped out the entire bird population there. If you go to Guam....take a listen....no birds at all.
