Wish I could go to show my support.
Some Fast 6 scenes were filmed in Liverpool, pretty close to me, only hope something gets organised....
Massive fan, and like a few have already said. These films turned you from being a car geek into being cool to be into modified cars ... brought the street scene out from behind the scenes and put "cruisers" on the map!
Only solace one can take, is he went how he probably wanted to ... Fast and Furious!
".... Dude, I almost had you!!...."

Chanel 7 news reported Paul Walker's autopsy revealed he did not, and was not, dead at the time of impact but deceased as a result of 'thermal injuries' and trama after the accident. I saw the video the two guys in the BMW filmed moments after the crash and after seconds 19 to 30, it looks as if someone is trying to get out. I'm hoping it was a piece of the car and not PW.
At any rate, right after the breaking news of his death, my cousin and I drove around I-75 at about 60mph and then down to where the meet is set up in Medley (we just so happened to drive down there- it wasnt because of the meet, obviously) just to reflect and pay homage to such a stand up guy. Although I was into the Sport Compact Car scene since 1995 and into classic lowriders prior to that, I still look towards The Fast and Furious as a motivational driving force to own the cars I have since '95 and subsequently the Supra I have today....It was awesome to see what I did, and had a passion for, displayed on the silver screen. Fast and Furious franchise brought car guys and gear heads together like no other movie (even the ones that tried to mimic the franchise). I have always been into engines and modding anything (even the lawn mower), but like someone said in a post earlier, we probably would not be on this forum, nor would it have been as popular, had it not been for this movie...
R.I.P. Paul Walker, aka, Brian Spilner, aka, Brian O'Connor. Thanks for your inspiration and being a true gear head and "an actor on the side" as you put it.
