Awesome new DIY garage in Miami!
I have to give a shout out for this new DIY garage in Miami called Garage Yourself. I stumbled across it on the internet as I was curious about whether there were any here in South Florida, since I am fed up with poor service from most of the dealers and shops down here. The owner Todd is extremely nice and helpful, he owns an '04 LS430 UL, a couple NSX's and has extensive knowledge of Honda/Acura and other makes. With his help I was able to fix a pesky exhaust leak and get my air suspension adjusted properly. The shop is awesome, he has ten brand new lifts and each bay has its own set of tools for you to use, along with compressed air and air tools. He also has a separate fabrication area complete with tons of shop tools, tire changing machine, welder, etc. They even have a dyno, I got my LS on it to try to diagnose a weird noise while the car was running. The place is real clean and its open late and on weekends. DIY-friendly places like this are hard to find, especially one this well-equipped, so it sure is a pleasure to be able to patronize this business. If you're in South Florida and could use a DIY shop at any time make sure you stop by Garage Yourself, it's right off 79th St a couple miles west of I-95. Check it out at garageyourself.com.

They had a small display set up at the drift event at the stadium a couple of weeks ago and it really got my attention. I thought it was an awesome concept. I kept their card knowing that I'll be using their shop one day. Glad someone chimed in on their experience there. I'll be using it for sure

Just keep in mind that the location is in the hood............... I did alot of running around there back in day. I'm pretty sure it hasn't changed in the last twenty yrs or so.... But, never the less it's a great concept.

It sure isn't Bal Harbor but I've lived in much worse. It's where you would expect to find a shop like this, keeps the overhead down so it's affordable for all. To avoid it because of the neighborhood is definitely not a valid excuse.
