Visiting Ft Lauderdale in mid September

My first time in FL...I'll be there between 9/13 to 9/20...anything I should do or see while here?

Im at a conference, but will have some time to be a tourist.

There's alot to do........ Towers on Friday nites, Casino, Mexico.......All in the Ft. Laud. area or there abouts.
