Eagle rods are top shelf? I keed I keed....i'm using the same in my build with the bigger pins. 
Almost ready for you Ed. The subframe is all welded up and sitting at STP, tires mounted, camber bushings installed....I just need somebody to volunteer a pickup truck again to help me go pick that POS up......

that was all to fun to read all 12 pages.Congrat RD i saw you ride at Ed's once.enjoy your new toy.715whp @ 21.3psi is good for me all day.i seen guy be at 25psi + and not get out of thr 600's.you had your car build your way its your money.
Now i don't know why some guys are lettng MR.Soarer get to you.the man only has 74 posts.he is bored!he is just learning off you guys that have the 411.tune him out!Lmfao!

he has the upgraded eagle rods with upgraded pins and 3/8 arp bolts. to me that's top shelf for his intended purpose. they can handle 1k rwhp with ease so why waste my customers money on 1600 rods when he will never see north of 800 period.

I agree with the rod choice. Doing the EXACT same thing. I'd be mindful of saying 1000whp with ease though. IRC, isn't that what smiley had and popped them around 1100ish? I don't know for fact, just hearsay.
Have you guys decided on which turbo to go with yet? I told Andrew I want to run him before he switches turbos for now. I'm hoping to go to countyline next week sometime....you guys in?

No towing, we just gotta throw the subframe in the back and drop it back off. I'm gonna see if I can get Mario's help again if he has time since he lives a few blocks from me, but thanks for the offer.

I know you are overseas, Ed said you gave him permission to put the car through some paces....but for anybody else watching this as well because lord knows its 12 pages long. LOL
Just because it isn't reported doesn't mean it doesn't happen. I think for both our goals it is irrelevant, but on Smiley's engine that used the SAME RODS with UPGRADED PINS and BOLTs broke the rod IN HALF at 1100whp. Just FYI.
