Any thoughts on running e85 on a daily driver?

Using it as a dialy driver probably won't be a good thing. You're probably going to hit up the gas station around three times a week depending on how much driving you do.

Did it for over a year daily driving my IS. Filled up every 4-5 days depending how much racing/WOT i did that week. With a good tune you will get good gas mileage. IIRC i was doing around 240 miles per tank.

Run the right fuel system setup and a good tune, you'll be fine.
Running E85 daily on a GTO too.

I know a few people that daily drive their cars on e85 and the only complaints I hear from them is that to fill up its not always as easy due to limited gas stations

for longevity and no fuel smell i use ptfe (teflon lined inner bore) braided lines with specific fittings to that line

The proper line for E-85 is a teflon core hose see link for hose (bottom hose on right) http://www.eaton.com/Eaton/ProductsS...ucts/index.htm

This hose does require a specific fittng please see the attached file (2 pages) show the proper fittings.

Hope this helps.
Remember the majority of the fittngs are not able to be swiveled and need to be tightened to the proper position required as the line does not twist.

As a recommendation after you do any changing of fuel lines or fittings its a good idea to clean and or replace your fuel filter element shortly after the changes. Fuel filters are far cheaper than injectors or motors.

What's the longevity on a non-ptfe(Teflon lined inner bore)?

How about the fuel setup that Ronin used on his Exige? I believe it was a half fuel and half alcohol dual stage setup. He talks about it in a Youtube video
