If you are staying auto.....get the trans built

-Get a Tial bov!!

-You have a power goal?

-Judging by your sig Im guessing you own a 98sc? if so get a GTE bottom end and TT headgasket

Yeah imma get a Tail bov to match the wastegate.

Power goals I would say max out the turbo.and for daily driving 500-550 safe.

Yeah I have a 98.also have a GTE block already.
Thanks for the input.

why change the block? TT head gasket and ARP studs...ride out!

I would suggest injectors around the 750-800 range based on your turbo. No reason to go insanely large there...will make the SAFC tune that much more of a pita

Yes I'm stay auto.I read up on club na-t that a 1jzgte auto was a better tranny to start off with.because the 1j has better internals, like the 2jzgte.
I just read up in it

Jordan remember I have a VVT-I,weak internals.
SAFC I just had it there.I might have to use something else who knows.the injectors still not sure yet.some say to go E85.

-Drop the safc if you can.....if you are on the budget go with an AEM FIC(turbo vvti guys seem to have good results with it) or save up and go standalone, Megasquirt 3 is not a bad option eithier.

-The 1jz auto trans is the same as the TT trans except for the fact it has a kick down cable like the NA trans.Get it built or atleast get V-body mod done,Also I highly recommend a thick trans cooler.....Im running a B&M cooler, spal fan,and thermostat that activates the fan when temps reach set limit.Get the convertor stalled between 2.5 - 3k or whatever you feel is best to match your turbo setup.

The SAFC I just had laying around.I figured that I could or couldn't use it.I hread if the AEM FIC on some of the IS's.thing is that its hard to find fresh new 411.all the threads I find on myis.com and on club na-t or all old.I'll see how much is the magasquirt.
The plan is to build the 1j tranny
Thanks for your help and info.

Talk to Jordan on the Megasquirt and John for "The LRD special" trans build.

btw: If you look around you can get a good deal on a second hand standalone....On Supra forums guys are always parting out cars.

Hey Rich, just a little advice. If you can, forget the AFC, and go full stand alone.

X2....... from my experience the safc is ok,but will limit your tunning capabilities and you may have a hard time controlling 720cc injectors with it.

look what I found on SFLdrifters.....

Brandnew MegaSquirt3

Decided to go a different route due to my harness not being setup well for and it and I don't feel like redoing the harness. This is the NEWEST version of Megasquirt out there. It can even tune itself if you have a wideband wired up!! I got this thing like a month ago, the MAP sensor is still in packaging! I can also include a 1JZ jumper harness for an extra $70. NEED TO SELL ASAP I WANNA DRIVE!

$625
