Hoping this attracts some attention
This has been in my head for some time now.And I'm hoping it gets the support of Florida members north and south.What I'm talking about is a central or west coast or even an east coast meet.One day event maybe some grilling and a chance to finally meet one another.And of course a photo opp.It just an idea guys and with out any feed back good or bad.We will never know if it is doable.So I was thinking some time in Feb.The weather should be nice.Place and final dates are all up for discussion.I really would hope to hear from everyone on Florida forum.Here is a map guys let pick a good spot for everyone.

you know i have been suggesting this for quite awhile now.. i think i have 1 more major meet organizing in me still (rem i did these way back in 03.04.05 then handed off to josh for the mega meet)
on the map look at a nice place on the west coast called venice beach just outside of ft meyers.... i have been there and on the beach theres ahuge park and theres neighboring naples for night life
i say there for its about 2hr drive or under for us in south florida, about 2hrs or so from orlando and about 1hr and change fromtampa,gainsville so everyone from within florida is equalized as far as driving
i also suggested to make it more interesting by inviting another carclub/type like the bimmer crowd to join us to make it more interesting and or nissan/infiniti crew

I love the idea of a weekend getaway meet. But I am not really big on the bmw idea, dare I say it. Most people say they are just like Honda drivers. Last friday at towers confirmed that for me. I do like the cars though

Orlando would be a fair place to meet not far from anybody. At least if we do it in Orlando alot of us have been there before and we know the area. I know alot of IS members up there have been dying for a meet.
I would love for it to be somewhere towards the end of January.

Orlando would honestly be the best bet for everyone. All of us know how to get there and know the area fairly well. Plus like most would agree, it is right in the middle of the state. Where as a place like venice beach would be nice, I'm from bradenton and I dont even know that area well. My vote is in for Orlando.

Finally took the time to read the thread on the Supra forums.And something was said.And it not the 1st time I seen stuff like this.It cool everyone is entitled to their opinions.But this is what was said.
(The point is simple state wide meeting doesn't need 400 cars, this is a performance oriented community, we just need the core people that represent supras on the highest ossible standard to show up. This is not the Scon community, or the lexus community. (ironic enough for me) )
So until they work it out with dates and time.I'll just stick with this.

okay guys your missing the point
we need to do something completely different .. orlando , been there done that over the last 4yrs .. standing around looking at each others cars gets old real quick
i suggest a venue like venice since its equal distance for the masses to travel from orlando and from south florida
having the beach makes for bbq time , mobile dyno onsite , and best of all beach activities (ie volleyball, flag football and EYE CANDY
)
just a suggestion for the parking lot scnerios is boring already
